Guests staying at The Talbot Hotel in Malton will be able to see some of the top chefs in Yorkshire as they will be showing off their most delicious dishes at a food festival next month.

Ryedale’s 4th Festival of Food and Drink takes place at Castle Howard near York from May 25-26 2008.

The Hon Simon Howard said: “This year we are proud to present an illustrious line-up of the county’s leading chefs demonstrating their fantastic food in the cookery theatre. They all have a passion for local produce and for Yorkshire, making it one of the finest regions in the UK for food and dining.

Some of the Chefs lined up at Castle Howard are:

Andrew Pern, of The Star Inn at Harome, Rob Green, of Greens in Whitby, and Andy Burton, of The Black Swan Helmsley, Colin McGurran, of Winteringham Fields, Stephanie Moon, of Rudding Park Harrogate, and James Mackenzie, of The Pipe and Glass at South Dalton.
